Overview

IBM Power Systems is IBM's enterprise server line based on the POWER10 processor architecture — a RISC-based platform designed for maximum reliability, performance, and enterprise workload density. Power10 servers run IBM AIX (Unix), IBM i (formerly AS/400), and Red Hat Enterprise Linux — making them the mission-critical platform for banking core systems, insurance policy processing, airline reservation systems, and government enterprise applications.
